From Chamonix, you can take the gondola lift to Plan Praz at 1,999m, then the cable car to Le Brévent at 2,525m. Discover the south slope and its great panoramic view of Mont Blanc.
Plan Praz is the departure point for great excursions including trips to Lake Cornu, and Grand Balcon Sud. It also has a fine take-off area for paragliding.

From the top of Le Brévent, a footpath goes to Aiguillette des Houches via the Bel-Lachat mountain hut.
Enjoy a moment of peace and contemplation on the fine sunny terraces.

It takes about twenty minutes to climb the 1,000 metres up to the Montenvers-Mer de Glace attraction. Simply hop on board the famous little red railway train. Time will stand still, and you’ll enjoy this vintage method of transport. The track climbs the mountainside, running through the forest, tunnels cut through the rock and over viaducts. You enter the realm of the high mountains, and round the last bend you’ll feel the magic: you’ve arrived at your destination at the foot of the famous Mer de Glace glacier, at an altitude of 1,913m.

A ride on the Mont-Blanc Tramway is a pretext for adventure... Discover a variety of alpines landscapes along the journey and some of the most views from the top. More than a simple excursion, a true discovery !
The highest rack railway train in France awaits you for a marvellous trip to the foot of Mont-Blanc. Starting in Le Fayet or Saint-Gervais, after a trip through forests and alpine prairies, skiers and hikers may access the Bellevue Plateau (1,900 m - 6,234 feet) and the Le Prarion ski area at the heart of an exceptional panorama (panoramicview of the Bionnassay glacier).

A roller coaster in the mountains! Rail track 1300m long with jumps, turns, spins at 540 ° ... Fun & thrills! Placed in the center of Chamonix, this new novel activity in the region is now open all year. Additional activity ideal skiing in winter, this track is fully lit at night to take advantage of early winter evenings!

For more than 60 years, the most famous and highest of the Aiguilles de Chamonix has been an essential world attraction. From the centre of Chamonix, a 20 minutes ride in the Aiguille du Midi cable car takes you to the gateway to the high Alps at a height of 3,842 m.
From its height of 3,777m, the Aiguille du Midi and its laid-out terraces offer a 360° view of all the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. A lift brings you to the summit terrace at 3,842m, where you will have a clear view of Mont Blanc.

The valley offers 350 km of superbly maintained hiking trails, with 170 different itineraries offering walks adapted to all.
Choose the lower valley trails for the wonderful forest scents or gain altitude and taste the blueberries, admire the fantastic panoramas and test your stamina.
